A quick and easy way to get hair looking supah cool, awwww yeeeah.
1 Soooo, step wun! Sketch and line your image, then pick whatever colour and do a base coat.
2 This part can really decide how good it looks. Pick a darker shade- but try not to just do the typical "add black" thing. Example...
-les examples-
It just makes it look more healthy and colourful. Do some shading on the bottoms...
3 KAY! This is the fun part, but you really need to pay attention to the hair flow~ Starting at the part, make downward strokes like shown.
4 This part I always screw up, so I suggest you duplicate the layer so you can go back just incase. o u o Basically you shade each line- on one side. Otherwise it's all blurry and messy.
5 Almost done! Now take whatever your watercolour brush is called and do a bit of lightening on each section...
6 And then the highlights o u o

Made in Corel Painted, but will work with basically anything.
I think this is really useful! I liked what you did with shading the lines etc. because that can help people to actually follow the flow of the hair! I think it's also a good way to make people think about the way hair acts: strands sticking together and not every hair on it's own! C: But please also remember that sometimes exactly that happens... and try to draw the hair a bit more loose, kay? The way you composed the tutorial is good, not using a lot of colours for the writing and the background. It looks nice and colourful without distracting to much from the text and pictures.
Yeah, sorry about the hair thing, I need to remember to make it more loose ; A ; Thanks! The rainbow thing was last second, I didn't want it to be completely white XD (PS: short reply to long comment is short )
